Jellybass is the name given to a genre of music primarily focused around a modulated synthesised bassline. Influences include dub, dubstep, reggae, downtempo and jazz, funk, Jellybass was first pioneered (and aptly named) by two UK artists known as LoHz (consisting of DJ Chix and TnG). The genre 'Jellybass' is inspired by the likes of Mr Scruff, Mr Oizo, Danny Breaks, Trava Whateva and Jon Kennedy.

Jellybass is also the name of LoHz's first album. Although still waiting to be released, Jellybass found itself the hot topic of most music forums including nuskoolbreaks.co.uk and the Computer Music Forum. The first Jellybass single, produced by LoHz is now available on Vinyl from their record label 'Random Audio Records'.
