Jhargram (Bengali: ঝাড়গ্রাম) is a subdivisional municipality in the Paschim Medinipur district in the Indian state of West Bengal.

As of 2001 India census^GRIndia, Jhargram had a population of 53,158. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Jhargram has an average literacy rate of 76%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 82%, and female literacy is 71%. In Jhargram, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
