James Emanuel "Jim" Fuchs (born 6 December 1927) was an American athlete who competed mainly in the shot put.
He competed for the United States in the 1948 Summer Olympics held in London, Great Britain in the shot put where he won the bronze medal. He repeated this with his second bronze medal in the shot at the 1952 Summer Olympics held in Helsinki, Finland.
