John Cassidy is a comedian, magician and balloon sculptor known for his ability to entertain both children and adults on two disparate levels simultaneously.
Cassidy holds several Guinness World Record speed records for his balloon sculpting prowess. In November of 2005, Cassidy both inflated and sculpted a record 654 balloons inside of one hour. He followed up his successful attempt by securing another record by inflating and twisting 13 balloon sculptures inside of one minute.
He has appeared on television as both a comedy magician and as a Guinness World Record celebrity appearing on Martha Stewart Living , The Weakest Link, NBC's Today Show , Live With Regis and Kelly and the [[Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon].
Cassidy has also been featured in numerous periodicals such as Better Homes and Garden and The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Cassidy, sometimes under his psydonym of "BalloonFREAK" has made numerous live appearances as well at theatres, corporate events, college campuses and at private parties. The White House in Washington D.C., The Magic Castle in Hollywood , the Golden Nugget Las Vegas and the Flamingo Las Vegas have all hosted John's performances on repeat occasions.
Cassidy and his wife of over ten years, Jennifer are lifelong resident of the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area.
