John Flanagan (footballer)

John Flanagan is an Irish soccer player who was born in Drogheda. His full time occupation is as a teacher. He teaches Junior Cert. Science, Biology and PE.
He currently plays with Dundalk F.C. enjoying his second spell with the Lilywhites.
He started his career with Home Farm.
He then joined Dundalk and helped lead them to victory from central midfield in the FAI Cup in 2002 against Bohemians.
He joined Drogheda United after being released by the then manager Trevor Anderson. He transfered to Athlone Town for a short spell before rejoining Dundalk in 2005 where he now plays as a right back.
John recently got married and just had a child with his wife.
