John Grandy

Marshal of the Royal Air Force Sir John Grandy GCB GCVO KBE DSO KStJ RAF (8 December 1913–2 January 2004) was a senior officer in the Royal Air Force.
In the summer of 1940, Grandy led 249 Squadron during the Battle of Britain.
Grandy was Chief of the Air Staff from 11 April 1967 to 31 March 1971.
Grandy was govenor of Gibraltar from 3 October 1973 to 30 May 1978
