John Hinde

John Hinde (1914 - 4 July, 2006) was an Australian media personality. He worked for the ABC for more than fifty years, in both television and radio.
He was a news correspondent during World War II. He filed a report on the first ever broadcast of Radio National's AM program in 1967.
During his later years, he became better known as a film critic.
He died 4 July, 2006 in Sydney, New South Wales.
