A Tribe of Toffs were a Novelty pop band from Sunderland in the UK. If they are remembered at all, it is probably for their top 30 single "John Kettley is a Weatherman" in 1988.
The John Kettley in question is a cult BBC weather forecaster - famous for his absurd hair.
