John Leventhal

John Leventhal is a grammy award-winning guitarist, composer, and music producer who has worked with singer-songwriters such as Shawn Colvin, Rosanne Cash (to whom he is married), Rodney Crowell, Marc Cohn, David Crosby, Kelly Willis, Johnny Cash, and others.
Leventhal first gained recognition when he began working with Shawn Colvin. The two co-wrote most of the songs on her 1989 grammy-winning album Steady On, as well as her 1992 album Fat City, and Marc Cohn's 1992 album The Rainy Season. He also produced Rodney Crowell's album Life is Messy, and Roseanne Cash's The Wheel (both in 1993).
