John Ritblat

Sir John Ritblat, educated at Dulwich College, is the Honourary Chairman and formerly Chairman and CEO of British Land PLC a large London-based property company. He is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Wallace Collection, Deputy Chairman of the Governing Body of London Business School, a Member of the Council of The Royal Institution and Honorary President of the British Ski & Snowboard Federation. The John Ritblat gallery of the British Library houses some of the finest items in their collection for public display, it is named after him since he was a major benefactor during the building of the gallery and donated one million pounds towards the gallery's display cases.
