John Michael Smith (born December 30, 1949, in Leafield, England) is a retired American football placekicker. He made his professional debut with the New England Patriots in 1974, remaining with the team until 1983.
Smith is more famous for kicking the only points in The Snow Plow Game, played December 12, 1982 in a snow storm at Foxboro Stadium.
