John Stewart a.k.a. The Skelf (born 3 August 1985 in Bellshill) is a Scottish professional footballer currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Falkirk. Stewart, formerly of Aberdeen is perhaps most famous for the winning goal he scored for Aberdeen against Celtic at Celtic Park on October 27, 2004.[1].
Stewart, a striker, boasted an impressive goalscoring record in Aberdeen's reserve team, however had found opportunities in the first team hard to come by.
On August 31, 2006 he joined Falkirk for an undisclosed, five-figure transfer fee[2].
