John Treacy (born June 4, 1957 in Villierstown near Dungarvan, County Waterford) is a former Irish athlete. At the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles he won a silver medal in the marathon, placing Ireland 33rd on the medals table. He is currently head of the Irish Athletics Board.
In 1978 and 1979 he won the IAAF World Cross Country Championships. In 1978 he graduated from Providence College
