John W. Mayhew

John W. Mayhew was the head football coach at Louisiana State University from 1909 to 1910. He finished his college football coaching career with an overall record of 3-6-0. He took over for coach Joe Pritchard in the middle of the 1909 season. He was the head coach of the LSU baseball team from 1910-1911 and his record was 15-16. He was also the head coach of the LSU basketball team from 1909-1911 and has a career record of 11-4. Mayhew was a graduate of the Vanderbilt University.
