John Xintavelonis

John Xintavelonis (AKA John X) is a Tasmanian actor and comedian, now well known in Australia for his performance as Pumbaa the warthog in the Australian production of the stage musical, The Lion King. He has worked for many Tasmanian production companies including the 10 Days On The Island Festival, Big Monkey, Exit Left, Fifth Wall, Zootango, Theatre Alfresco, Theatre Royal/XWWX, Hills Centre and Old Nick. His screen work includes television shows Something Hot Before Bed (Australian Broadcasting Corporation); TODAY (Nine) Sunrise (Seven); Football Life (WIN TV) and film appearances in Sound Of One Hand Clapping (Artist Services) and Teamwork (IzzyTheDog). He has also hosted a Tasmanian radio programme as well as doing voices for animations, advertisements and puppet theatre. Xintavelonis is currently working with Darren 'Spot' Cullen in the 2007 Old Nick Company Uni Revue.
