Johnny Hanson (born November 21, 1965 in Queens, New York) is a well-endowed American pornographic actor (porn star) who appeared in five gay pornographic movies in the mid 1990s.
An exclusive "top", Hanson was well known in his heyday for his darkly smouldering good looks, athletic swimmers’ build and huge, curved cut penis, which measured 9" inches long and was also one of the thickest in the porn industry ([[1]]). Studios heavily promoted his so-called “beer can” girth in the advertising of his movies. He signed a contract with Falcon Video in 1995 and was launched as their new star in a major publicity blitz for his role as a philandering ski instructor in the classic Falcon moviesThe Other Side of Aspen III: Snowbound and The Other Side of Aspen IV: The Rescue. The latter film ended with a particularly sensual and passionate sex scene in which Hanson receives fellatio from, is "rimmed" by and finally sodomizes his onscreen lover Chad Knight. He also had notable roles as a shy gay man who has a series of erotic cyber affairs in Download, as a randy fireman in Hot Firemen, and in the large penis-oriented Trying It On For Size.
Around this time, Hanson did a photo shoot for Inches Magazine, a gay porn magazine that focuses on men with extra-large penises, in which he measured himself with a measuring tape and confirmed his penis as 7.5 inches long and 6 inches in girth in its flaccid state. He also appeared nude in magazines like Playgirl, Mandate, Skinflicks and Unzipped.
Hanson, who was often reported by directors and co-stars as suffering from depression and being difficult to work with which upsets Hanson, had ambitions as a recording artist and released a one-off dance single called “Mr. Fantasy”, which was a minor hit in gay dance clubs. He retired from the porn industry in 1997 at the peak of his career, amid much industry speculation about his mental health.
In summer 2006, Michael Lucas coaxed Hanson out of retirement to make a clothed, non-sexual cameo appearance as a nightclub bouncer in La Dolce Vita, a gay adult remake of the Fellini classic La Dolce Vita.
