Johnson Creek (Oregon)

Johnson Creek is a tributary of the Willamette River in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area. It passes through four cities (Gresham, Portland, Milwaukie, and Happy Valley) along its 26 mile route.[1] Today nearly 175,000 people live within its 54 sq. mi watershead.[2] It is one of the last free-flowing streams in the Portland area and provides important habitat for Coho and Chinook salmon, steelhead and cutthroat trout.[3]
The Johnson Creek Watershed is composed of Kelley Creek, Crystal Springs, Sunshine Creek, Butler Creek, Veterans Creek, and Badger Creek.
