John Augustus is part of WikiProject Massachusetts, an effort to create, expand, and improve Massachusetts-related articles to a feature-quality standard. |
So why was Augustus so successful? It's simple, he got to decide who he worked with. Now it's the court that makes the decision. The potential success for rehabilitation is not factored in, it's all based on plea bargans and lazy or understaffed courts.
