[edit] Unknown coin on your photo page
The unknown gold coloured coin you have on your photo page is a 1977 Queen Elizabeth commemorative token. Not much else to say about it; they were issued in large quantities, and I have seen them sell on eBay for $3 to $10.

[edit] Argonaut (shipbuilder)
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Argonaut (shipbuilder), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Argonaut (shipbuilder). You may remove the deletion notice, and the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. --Dual Freq 01:15, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "Doomed Megalopolis" Criticism Section
What was so "insulting"? Why was it insulting? Also, if it had been as offensive as you have it out to be, then why wasn't it removed (or modified) a long time ago?
How can you be sure that the change you made was not a matter of opinion?
[edit] Brake fade - AfD
I'm interested whether you followed the "Brake fade" article exchanges. Maybe you could comment on the stonewalling I get from the original author whom I confronted with a correct engineering explanation of brake fade in contrast to the folklore cause. Maybe you could give me some pointers. Jobst 05:49, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Help request
I see a new user is trying to put together a coinage article. To me it looks a bit overambitious, but I am not familiar with the numismatics project standards for such articles. Here is the request. Cheers, NoSeptember 00:43, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Catbird seat
I didn't think deleting information about an obscure band (a quick search of google reveals nothing related to the band) that was taking away from the more common meaning of the idiom constituted vandalism. 66.41.62.136 04:24, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Concerning your Admin Coaching assignments
Your name is still listed at Wikipedia:Admin coaching/Volunteers. The department is heavily backlogged with student's requests for coaches, and we need your help!
Note that the instructions may have changed since the last time you checked, and the department now follows a self-help process...
If you don't currently have a student, or if you believe you can handle another one, please select a student from the request list at Wikipedia:Admin coaching/Requests and contact them. See the instructions on Wikipedia:Admin coaching. Good luck.
If you are no longer available to coach, , please remove yourself from the volunteers list.
Thank you. The Transhumanist 03:23, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
