Jon Goodman (born 2 June 1971 in Walthamstow, England) is a former professional footballer, and current Sports Scientist at Reading Football Club.
Goodman began his career at non-league Bromley before a £50,000 move to Millwall in August 1990. He moved to Wimbledon in November 1994 for £650,000. His career was cut short by injury and Goodman joined Reading Football Club as Sports Scientist in the summer of 2005 following the departure of Niall Clark to West Ham. Goodman has a Sports science degree from the Roe Hampton Institute.
Northern Ireland manager Lawrie Sanchez included Goodman in his team as a conditioning coach for the Euro 2008 qualifying campaign. [1]
