Jon Stewart is a goalkeeper. He is a product of the Swindon Town youth system.
During the 2005/2006 season, he was given a squad number (24) by Swindon manager Iffy Onuora because of the suspension of Tom Heaton and injury to Rhys Evans, leaving only himself and Matt Bulman as recognised goalkeepers. However Stewart did not feature throughout the season.
In the 2006/2007 season he was once again given a squad number following the long-term injury suffered by Peter Brezovan but has still yet to make his debut for Town.
Part of the Youth team which lost out to Newcastle United in the FA Youth Cup Quarter Finals.
He is currently being watched by several top clubs as he is being tipped to be a future England No. 1.
Handling and shot stopping ability is second to none.
