Jonas Schwartz

Jonas Schwartz is a sports reporter and weekend sports anchor for WNBC. He joined WNBC after leaving the sports anchor position for the Sinclair Broadcast Group's News Central. Jonas is a graduate of Hobart College and was Sports Director of WEOS-FM while at school. He broadcast most of the Colleges' teams, including Football, Soccer, Basketball, Hockey, and Lacrosse. He also broadcast Men's Lacrosse games for the NCAA.
Jonas attended Syracuse University for his graduate degree, at Newhouse. Upon graudation, he went west to Idaho Falls as a reporter. He moved on to Salt Lake City, where he was a reporter/anchor for the local Fox Affiliate.
In August of 06', Schwartz enrolled in the evening program at Rutgers Law-Newark. His professors and fellow students greatly appreciated his insightful analyses and witticisms. However, to everyone's chagrin, he did not return for his second semester. At this time, no reason is known for his dissapearance.
In February 2007, Schwartz joined Sportsnet New York as an anchor/reporter.
