Hello! (גוט־יאָר) I am Jon Ross (יאָנאַטאַן ראָס).
[edit] Who are you?
I am a music education/voice performance major at the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam in Potsdam, New York. I live in Chappaqua, New York. Most of my article contributions are either about SUNY Potsdam, transportation (esp. EAS Airports and Defunct Airlines), geography, or old-school Nickelodeon shows, or ייִדיש. Who knows, you might find something else random in there as well.
Here are my contributions!
[edit] Recent News
- 12/6 - I have begun a WikiProject! It is for the creation of articles of defunct airlines. This may seem silly to you, but I find it fascinating that before and just after the passing of the Airline Deregulation Act, there were hundreds of small regional airlines that served several airports throughout the country (and some near us) that do not see any service today, or see much less service today than they once did. For example, Dutchess County Airport in Poughkeepsie was once a hub for Command Airways (I started this article myself), and now the airport is not in use at all for commercial activity. Let me know if anyone wants to help with this project. Wikipedia:WikiProject Defunct Airlines.
- 12/6 - I am performing in Magnificat by Bach at the First Presbyterian Church in Canton on Sunday. I am singing the Fecit Potentiam as a quintet. Hope some of you can make it! I'm also performing in the area recital at Snell Hall at 5pm on Friday.
- I'm coming home either December 14th or 15th from Potsdam. Can't wait to see you all!
