Jordanus Nemorarius

Jordanus de Nemore according to documents of the thirteenth and fourteenth centuires, but more famouly Jordanus Nemorarius as per Renaissance authors. His name is literally Giordano of Nemi and he was probably Italian in origin. He was a scientist and mathematician, probably of the twelfth century, who had great influence in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
