Josué Mayard (born on October 3, 1980 in Montreal, Canada) is a Haitian soocer player currently playing for Pors Grenland.
Josue is a quick, athletic player, whose man marking abilities and experience at the international and MLS level.
Josue played the 2000 season with the Montreal Impact, where he had an impressive rookie campaign, recording 4 goals and 2 assists for 10 points in only 13 games. After having an impressive campaign with the Impact he signed for the Dallas Burn in 2001 and he split the 2002 season between the Dallas Burn and Kansas City Wizards playing very few games for both teams.
He returned to the USL First Division with the Lynx for the 2003 season playing 26 games and scoring 2 goals. He would contiune to play with the Lynx until 2005 where he was traded to the Vancouver Whitecaps in exchange for Said Ali. With the Caps he helped the team make the playoffs reaching the semi-finals but losing to Richmond Kickers in an penalty shootout.
In 2006 he signed with Pors Grenland playing 26 games and scoring 4 goals.
Although he is a Canadian citizen, due to his Haitian heritage, he was able compete for Haiti national football team in their quest to qualify for the 2000 World Cup. He also helped the team qualify for the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
