Juan Luis Gómez

Juan Luis Gómez López, aka Juanlu, (born 18 May 1980 in Málaga) is a Spanish footballer contracted to Real Betis of the Spanish La Liga, although he is currently on loan at CA Osasuna. Juanlu is a left-sided midfielder.

[edit] Almería
- Juanlu began his career at CD Mármol Macael before moving to UD Almería. He made 55 league appearances for UD Almería, scoring 10 goals. During his time at UD Almería he made a loan move to Alicante CF where he made 15 league appearances, scoring 1 goal.

- Juanlu made 27 league appearances for CD Numancia, scoring 2 goals, before he moved on to Real Betis.
[edit] Real Betis
- During his time at Real Betis, Juanlu has been loaned to Albacete Balompié and CA Osasuna. Juanlu scored 3 goals in 17 Segunda División league matches for Albacete Balompié. Although unhappy at his lack of first team opportunities at Real Betis, Juanlu is pleased at his moved to CA Osasuna, "I am happy because this deal is good for everyone, especially for me because I've joined a team that's in the Champions League qualifying round."
