[edit] Judy Blue Eyes
I just learned (some thirty-five years late it appears) that the Crosby Stills and Nash song Judy Blue Eyes was written by Stephen Stills in honor of Judy Collins, with whom he was romantically involved in the 1960s. I meandered over to this page in Wikipedia, perhaps looking for a reference to that? I think the lyrics are mildly cryptic and was just curious about the details. However, I'm surprised to learn there's no reference to it on the Judy Collins page. Although there is a stub for Judy Blue Eyes, it doesn't go into much detail. Perhaps there simply isn't much detail. At any rate, I thought about adding a reference to the article, but am not quite sure how to go about doing it. I thought about adding it to the fourth paragraph of the biography, but can't figure out how best to put it in:
"1968's Who Knows Where the Time Goes had a mellow country sound, and included Ian Tyson's Someday Soon. It was produced by Stephen Stills (of Crosby, Stills & Nash), with whom Collins was romantically involved at the time. Stills also wrote a song called Judy Blue Eyes which expressed his feelings for her, and recorded it with Crosby and Nash."
See? The above is the best I can manage, yet it still reads rather cumbersomely. I welcome input to the idea of including it here, and opinions on whether or not it's even safely feasible or worthy to do so. ZachsMind 04:00, 17 July 2005 (UTC)

Should it be mentioned that she currently lives on the Upper West Side of NYC with her husband?
[edit] Song for Martin
Anybody know who the subject is in this song? It seems to be a folk singer who didn't manage to break the scene in the same way that she did Martyn Smith 16:10, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
The Martin of the song is Martin Hoffman, who set the Pete Seeger poem "Deportees (Plane Wreck at Los Gatos)" to music. Some ten years or so later, Hoffman committed suicide. PacificBoy 21:09, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
