Julia Darling

Julia Darling (b. August 21, 1956, d. April 13, 2005) was an award-winning British novelist, poet and dramatist.
Julia Darling came from Winchester but lived in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. She won the Northern Rock Foundation Writer's Award in 2003 and was best known for her Booker Prize-longlisted novel The Taxi Driver's Daughter. She died of breast cancer, aged 48.
