I like detail, editing, research and writing. I'm an artist (fine and graphic) with an interest in architecture and languages. From Indian culture and philosophy I've fascinated by Ninjas and ninjutsu - their methods and principles.
My interests are photography as in contre-jour or backlit photography - though without the look of stark silhouette. And straight photography which uses available light only and avoids applications other than shutter speeds and basic exposures. Light and angles are my favourite elements. I started with a Pentax ME Super and went on to other semi auto SLRs (which I still love) because unless I'm prepared to spend a small fortuna on a digiSLR there's always that time lag between the subject and shutter button that I have to use for its own aesthetic, or take a chance or pose things alot with a simple Finepix 4megapix A340.
And wikipedia. Wildly curious, I say thank you wiki community for such a feast.
I own Mike Dash's book, Thug - now there's a researcher/writer for you. I was inspired to make a userpage when I read Dash's own profile.
