Junkyard Groove

Formed in April 2005 in Chennai, India, Junkyard Groove describe their music style as Indie Funk.
Junkyard Groove is made up of Ameeth Thomas(Vocals and Rhythm guitar), Siddharth Srinivasan(Lead guitar and Backing vocals), Craig Maxworth(Bass guitar and Backing vocals) and Jeremaiah Abraham(Drums). The individual musical tastes of the band's members range from Heavy metal, to Classic rock and Jazz.
Junkyard Groove aka JYG has been gaining steady popularity among India's youth after attaining success at a number of competitions in India of which Strawberry Fields is note-worthy.[1] They have also received international attention recently, when they won Shamal - a battle of the bands featuring bands from different parts of Asia.[2] As a result of this win, JYG will be the opening act at Dubai's Desert Rock Festival 2007 and they have also won a 3 year recording contract with Creative Kingdom Records, USA.[3]
Some of their fan-favourites are the songs - "It's Ok", "Folk You", "Twinkle" and "Say Goodbye".
