Justin Harrell

Justin Tyrell Harrell (born February 14, 1984 in Martin, Tennessee) is a senior defensive tackle for the Tennessee Volunteers. He missed most of the 2006 season with a torn biceps muscle, but is expected to be a 1st round pick in the NFL Draft

Harrell was a 3 year starter for the Vols from 2004 to 2006. Early in the 2006 season, Harrell suffered a season ending injury. His biceps was torn from the entry point in his upper arm. The injury required surgury, but Harrell played the next game against the Florida Gators before having the required surgery.
Harrell had been a preseason All-SEC pick. Harrell also was the Defensive MVP of the 2005 Cotton Bowl. Harrell is projected to be a late first round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft.

Harrell was named the 2A Mr. Football in Tennessee and was named All-American by PrepStar recruiting service. Harrell attended Westview High School where his team was a state runner-up his senior year.
