[edit] Wonderware
I have replaced the copyright information at Wonderware. We can't accept copyright information into articles. It was a copy of [1]. Also, Wikipedia is not advertising space. You may be blocked (and all your edits removed) if you continue to parktake it edits that appear to be advertising.--Commander Keane 06:42, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
- You added copyright material back into the article. Don't do that again or you will be blocked from editing, this is your last warning. Feel free to add information into the article - but it must not be copied from a website and must be in your own words.--Commander Keane 07:33, 11 February 2006 (UTC)

- You have been blocked for ignoring warnings and inserting copyvio information into Wonderware. Wikipedia is not an advertising board - we write encyclopedia articles here (and that doesn't involve cut/paste from websites). Please read Wikipedia:Five_pillars.--Commander Keane 07:50, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
(Justin.Tweedie 08:08, 11 February 2006 (UTC)) OK, I'm learning how this Wikipedia stuff works. I was not aware of your warnings, please unblock me so I can be a good boy ;)
- It seems to me that you might work for Wonderware and are trying to advertise for them. Do you have any affiliation with Wonderware?--Commander Keane 08:11, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
(Justin.Tweedie 08:15, 11 February 2006 (UTC)) I am involved in the automation industry, was looking to have some factual information (advertising is not the intention) that's what their website does. Was in progress of triming and editing and could not figure why my changes were being removed. Believe the info is of interest to many.
- The problem with the info was that most of it was copied straight off their website. That isn't a good way (it's illegal and people can get the info from the website, no need for Wikipedia to reproduce it) for an article to develop. I think some of the Windows 3.11 info may have been your own work - which could be promising. Why don't you work on the article (in notepad or whatever) and then save it to Wikipedia when your block is complete.--Commander Keane 08:22, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
(Justin.Tweedie 08:26, 11 February 2006 (UTC)) Cool, I had doubts about how Wikipedia works but look at 5 pillars and admin structure, etc. WOW this is amazing stuff. (Justin.Tweedie 08:28, 11 February 2006 (UTC)) Would you please consider removing the block from my user. Thanks.
- OK I have removed the block. Just keep in mind that you can't paste in information from websites. If in doubt, ask on an article's talk page.--Commander Keane 13:43, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
