Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences

The Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences is one of eight federally recognized Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences. It currently comprises the following departments (brands in parenthesis):
- Department of Business (PHW Business School, AKAD Hochschule für Berufstätige)
- Departement of Health Services (WE'G Foundation)
The Kalaidos UAS is the only Swiss UAS organized according to private law. As such, it does not receive federal or cantonal subsidies, but is also less constraint by bureaucratic rules and regulations.
The academic quality is ensured across all Swiss universities and UAS by a series of federal measures.
