Kalee Beth Carey (born November 16, 1984) is an American professional basketball player.

Kalee was born on November 16, 1984, the daughter of Linda and Darrell Carey and grew up ninety minutes north of Lubbock in the small town of Canyon, Texas. She is the oldest of three children and has two sisters. She was good at basketball as a teenager, she was seen by many as the best player in her field, in her area. In the second grade, she wore a size seven women's shoe and in sixth grade, she was over six foot one and wore a size fourteen women's shoe (eleven inches long).

Kalee studied at Canyon Texas High school and graduated in 2003.

- She led her team to the state 4-A championship in 2000 as a freshman and has garnered several All Tournament and All-State selections.
- In 2002, she was named District 3-4A MVP.
- All-American as a senior at Canyon HS, led Canyon to a 32-1 mark and its 10th overall state title (second title during Carey’s tenure) and to the No. 1 spot in the 2002-03 USA Today Super 25 Girls’ HS National Poll
- Played in both the WBCA/Nike HS All-America Game and McDonald’s All-America Game in April 2003
- Parade Magazine Second Team All-America, USA Today Third Team All-America, Slam Magazine Honorable Mention All-America as a senior when she averaged 17 points, nine rebounds and five blocks per game
- First Team All-State and Texas Class 3A Tournament MVP after leading Canyon to the 2003 Class 3A state title with a 32-point, 14-rebound effort in the championship win (76-45) over Kountze HS, played at UT’s Erwin Center
- rated the 12th-best HS center in the nation
- freshman reserve on Canyon’s 2000 Texas State 4A championship team (up one division from current team 3A division)
- District 3-4A MVP as a junior when she averaged 17.5 points and 9.5 rebounds a game

Kalee is described as a good shooter, and is a hard matchup for opponents. While at university she played for the Texas Longhorns at the University of Texas. On December 06, 2005, Carey announced she was leaving the team.
[edit] As a Freshman (2003-2004)
- Appeared in 13 games in a reserve role, averaging 3.2 ppg, 2.2 rpg and 6.3 minutes per game
- Scored twice in double figures, netting 11 points against Navy (November 28) and 10 points against Texas-Pan American (December 17)
- Also had a season-best rebounds against UT-Pan American with seven
