Kamran Atif

Kamran Atif (Urdu: کامران عاطف) is member of Harkat-ul Mujahideen al-Alami. In 2002, he tried to assaissinated President Pervez Musharraf. Kamran Atif was arrested in 2004 after a shootout with police in Karachi in which he was critically wounded. A 50-year-old woman passer-by was killed in the gun battle, which started when the police raided a house where at least two militants were hiding. He was entenced to death in 2006 by the anti-terrorism court in Pakistan.
