Karen Alexander (singer)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Karen Alexander (? - ) was an American singer-songwriter who had some succes in the 1970s. Her first album was "Isn't it always love", and it was well received when it came out in 1975. The title song came out on a single as well, and was a small hit. It was later covered by Nicolette Larson and Karla Bonoff. Her songs had an up-tempo rythm and cheerfull text and melody, and she wrote them all herself. It took 3 years to record her second album "Voyager". "Voyager" showed a much more matured singer. The tempo of most songs was slower, but the songs on "Voyager" missed the cheerfull atmosphere that characterized her first album. Her second album was also her last.
