Karen M. Hartley-Nagle

Karen M. Hartley-Nagle (b. August 18, 1962, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania) is Executive Director of The Nagle Foundation and was a candidate in the 2006 race for the single Delaware seat in the United States House of Representatives.

Karen Hartley-Nagle studied art and design at Moore College of Art, Delaware Technical and Community College and Wilmington College. She switched residence from Newtown Square, Pennsylvania to Delaware in 1990.
In 2004 she became Executive Director of The Nagle Foundation, a non-profit organization focusing on child welfare, a post she still holds in 2006.
Ms. Hartley-Nagle is a single mother of one son and three daughters.

Karen Hartley-Nagle has not held an elected office as of 2006. Ms. Hartley-Nagle participated as an Independent candidate in the 2004 Delaware State Senate race for the 17th District Seat, but was not elected.
She was most recently the Independent candidate in the 2006 race for the single Delaware seat in the United States House of Representatives.
She participated in the primary election for this race as a Democratic candidate, but converted to Independent after losing the Democratic primary to Dennis Spivack.
