Karina Falcon

Karina Falcon born in 1984, is a bilingual Mexican writer and poet.
Falcon has researched into Greek Mythology, iconography, Women's role in Religion and the Sacred; as well as the Abjected Body and the Monster in Literature. She given presentations of these topics at The World Trade Center Mexico and Universidad de Londres, Mexico City. She is the founder of the Literary and Scenic Group, Templo de la luna: Novena Luna.
Her book Devocion, Poesía de la Carne, has been considered one of the most significant works among Mexican Poetry in the year 2006. She was published in the Antologia Internacional de Poesía Amorosa (International Anthology of Poetry about love) along with Enriqueta Ochoa (Mexico), Charlotte Grasnick (Germany), Jorge del Castro Pinto (Colombia), Elmys Garcia Rodríguez (Cuba) and many other important poets.
