Karl Friedrich, Hereditary Prince of Hohenzollern

HSH Karl Friedrich, Hereditary Prince of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen (Karl Friedrich Emich Meinrad Benedikt Fidelis Maria Michael Gerold) was born on 20 April 1952 in Sigmaringen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. He is the eldest son of Friedrich Wilhelm, Prince of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen and Princess Margarita of Leiningen.

He married Countess Alexandra of Stauffenberg, daughter of Count Clemens Anton of Stauffenberg and Countess Clementine Elisabeth of Wolff-Metternich, on 17 May 1985 in Sigmaringen, Baden-Württemberg. They have four children:
- HSH Prince Alexander Friedrich Antonius Johannes of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen b. 16 March 1987
- HSH Princess Philippa Marie Carolina Isabelle of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen b. 2 November 1988
- HSH Princess Flaminia Pia Eilika Stephanie of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen b. 9 January 1992 Her godmother is Archduchess Eilika of Austria
- HSH Princess Antonia Elisabeth Georgina Tatiana of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen, b. 22 June 1995 Her godmother is Princess Tatiana of Liechtenstein
