Kasaba is a small town 17 kilometres from Kastamonu, Turkey. Its population in 1905 was about 23,000. The town does not seem to occupy any ancient site of importance but there is a famous 14th century mosque built by the Candaroğlu dynasty, ruler of the Anatolian Turkish Beylik of the same name.
Kasaba gave its name to the fruit casaba.
