Katdabrat, also known as KDB or simply Kat, is a 13-year old female from Boston, Massachusetts. She has a deep-rooted love of the band KoRn and Pokemon. Kat is a hardcore slash fiction writer and spends most of her time on her computer writing slash about KoRn. She has been known to voice an extreme interest in homosexuality and is actually bisexual herself. Kat often hangs out on Pokemon forums, such as Serebii.net.

[edit] The Beginning
In July of 2006, Kat stumbled upon a site called Mr Fuzzims. While browsing the site, several of the pages had KoRn songs playing on them; more specifically, "Y'All Want A Single" and "Freak On A Leash".
Soon after discovering this song, she logged on to WinMX and downloaded the two songs. While "Y'all Want A Single" was found interesting, it was "Freak On A Leash" that captivated Kat.
"I listened to that friggin' song at least a hundred times. I burned it on a mix CD and that was all I listened to for a whole day. That. One. Song."
Before leaving for camp, she purchased the Greatest Hits CD, and downloaded two more. Upon her return, her collection quickly expanded to contain all official release KoRn CDs.

At camp, Kat began writing her first KoRn fanfiction, entitled "A Day In The Life".
"Looking back at it, it makes me shudder. I didn't know shit about KoRn then, and oh, god, it was so innacurate. I had him with no dad, I had him cuttin' himself...I think I've still got the notebook somewhere."
After coming home and doing much research, Kat began to write a new fanfiction, called "I Hurt You Because You're There". This story was even darker that her first, involving Jonathan Davis being kidnapped and subjected to BDSM.
"Whoo...that one was fun to write. Got to part 12 before I decided it was badly written and went and rewrote the whole bloody thing. *laughs* Still workin' on it."
She began to post her stories on Quizilla. However, one day while browsing the internet, Kat stumbled upon FanDomination.net. Upon discovering the (rather large) section of KoRn fanfiction (mainly slash), she began to not only post her own stories, but download and print out other stories as well.
She is now working on a series of one shots, including a pair about Jonathan Davis as a hermaphrodite.

Recently, (January 2007), Jonathan Davis of KoRn did an acoustic duet of Kat's favorite KoRn song, "Freak On A Leash" with the Evanescence lead singer, Amy Lee. After watching the video, Kat went temporarily insane and slashed her wrists. Though not fatal, they did leave scars which are clearly visible. Kat's reason for this is the fact that she was teased in seventh grade for listening to Evanescence, and also the fact that Amy Lee used to be a Christian rocker.

Kat has had an interest in Pokemon since second grade. Originally, she was immersed deeply into the TV show, and soon lost interest. Recently, however, she has regained interest, playing the games (specifically Pokemon Emerald) and running Pokemon sites.

[edit] Poke-Storm
Poke-Storm was Kat's first Pokemon website. It was launched June 2006, and went on a long, unannounced hiatus when she went to camp. Upon her return, it was rarely updated, usually once a month, mainly telling people to go to her fanfiction site. It was finally shut down November 2006. The reason was cited as:
"After several months of inactivity, I have decided to SHUT DOWN POKE-STORM INDEFINTELY. To be honest, I really have no interest in Pokemon any more (even though I still play the games), and I just have a lot of other things to work on. Stories, MySpace, several other sites."

Kat Da Brat Art is a fanfiction-based site run by Kat. It was originally hosted at Geocities, but in October of 2006, a domain was purchased, moving the site to katdabratart.com. The main focus of the site is her KoRn fanfiction, however since it's launch the site has expanded to include games, photos, as well as other forms of writing such as songs and 'rants'.

Recently, a new site has surfaced on the internet, called PokeCU. Kat has stated that it is a new Pokemon site, and it may also become a KoRn site. The current color scheme of the site is dark red, and the motto is "Where The Pokemon Headbang"
The site features four different styles and a flash entry video.
In January 2007, Kat closed the KoRn section of PokeCU, and it is now a Pokemon site only.

Casy is Kat's "brother". He is based off a Neopet, which is in turn based off on a real life cat.
When Kat was six, and in first grade, she recieved her first pet, a cat named Casey.
When Casey died, she created a Neopets account, under the name kat_kat_casey (This account no longer exists, due to being frozen under false accusations). The main pet on the account was named casey_casey_kat_kat. He started as a red Aisha, and was later changed to Christmas by help of a magic paintbrush. When the account was frozen, he was Robot, by way of the Secret Lab Ray.
During the period of her Neopets obsession, Casy was originally always referred to as and drawn as an Aisha. His name was also spelled with an "e". When she was in sixth grade, the "e" was dropped from his name. When her account was frozen, he was from then on drawn as a human male with cat ears.
During sixth grade, she always referred to him as 'her brother', avoiding the fact that he was actually imaginary. She informed her friends that the reason he was never around was because 'her mom shipped him off to military school'.
In seventh grade, the secret was released, and she told everyone he was, in fact, imaginary. When she became obsessed with KoRn, she began telling everyone that her 'brother' was 'gay for Jonathan Davis'.
Kat now frequently 'talks to Casy'. She is, in reality, talking to herself.
