Talk:KCBS (AM)

Is KCBS really "the West Coast flagship radio station of CBS," or is KNX? --Hillrhpc 04:13, 25 July 2005 (UTC)
- While KNX is the CBS station in the larger LA market, KCBS does have the corporate name in its call letters, usually a good sign of what they consider the flagship. Of course, KCBS has been owned by CBS longer, so that's probably why SF, not LA, has the KCBS name.--oknazevad 01:46, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Night reception of KCBS
Contrary to the article, KCBS (AM) can be heard clearly at night here in the L.A. area! This is because KBRT shuts down, except for a small feed into Catalina Island. - Desmond Hobson 23:24, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
