KCL Enterprises

KCL Enterprises is one of the UK’s leading University based technology transfer companies and is a wholly owned subsidiary company of King's College London. KCL Enterprises are responsible for business development and commercialisation and for the management of the university’s research grants and contracts.
KCL Enterprises' activities include the identification of new opportunities for partnership, marketing, intellectual property protection (patenting), licensing, collaboration, consultancy and mentoring of spin-out companies (equity management). KCL Enterprises negotiate legal agreements on behalf of the university and manage the administrative, financial and legal aspects of externally-funded research in the College. KCL Enterpises lead with enterprise training within King’s for staff and students and assist the university in the development of bespoke teaching and training modules and in work based placements.
