Talk:Kenneth Carlsen
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] He holds the world record for most first-round exits in Grand Slam singles tournaments
Is this a relevant record? He must accordingly be among those who have been contesting in most Grand Slams. That could be a more relevant measure of professional activity (and an achievement many professionals would envy). There must also be several players who have a 100% loss percentage at Grand Slams, which Kenneth Carlsen does not have. To repeat, I fail to see the relevance. Could author please provide argument? --HJ 21:08, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
- This is something that have developed into something of a joke, at least in Denmark, (ah Carlsen out in the first round - of course) and at an end-of-the-year sports-show in 2005, he even poked fun at it himself, only having to bring clothes for one day for a tournament, etc. Maybe this should be mentioned? /AB-me (chit-chat) 15:05, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

- That would be a fine idea. Do you know a more exact reference? Was it on "DR" or "TV2"?--HJ 17:57, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

- Sorry for the late reply, but it was at the Sport 2005-show on DR 1. The segment can be seen by following the "Med Kenneth Carlsen på arbejdet (Sport2005)"-link on this page. /AB-me (chit-chat) 10:47, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
