Keopuolani, Queen Consort of Hawaii (1778–1823) was a queen consort of Hawaii and the highest ranking wife of King Kamehameha I. She mothered three of his children: Liholiho (later King Kamehameha II), Kauikeaouli (later King Kamehameha III), and Nahi'ena'ena. She played an instrumental role in the overthrow of the Hawaiian kapu system by dining with Kamehameha (something forbidden before then).
