Kerridge
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kerridge is a village in Cheshire, England near to Rainow.
It is named for the Kerridge hill – one of the western foothills of the Pennines – on which it stands. It is overlooked by the local landmark of White Nancy. The local industries were quarrying and cotton mills, of which remnants remain. The hill Kerridge gets its name from the old name 'Care Ridge'.
