Kevin Harmse

Kevin Harmse (born July 4, 1984 in Johannesburg, South Africa) is a professional soccer player currently plays for the FC Nitra in the Corgoň Liga.
Harmse was drafted by the Vancouver Whitecaps in 2002,but transferred to Tromsø Idrettslag in the Norwegian Premier League (Tippeligaen). But he experienced very little games played. And returned to the Whitecaps in 2004 where he slowly become a major cornerstone for the Whitecaps defence where he played 27 games and scored once.
Harmse played an important part of Canadian Under 20 team that made it to the quarter-finals in the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship.
He has recently signed for FC Nitra of the Corgoň Liga. In January 2007 he told his club on a phone call from Vancouver that he doesn't want to play for Nitra any more, he's not part of their squad any longer.
As of March 2007 he has been on trial with LA Galaxy of MLS.
