Kevin Siembieda (born June 1956) is an American writer, designer, and publisher of role-playing games, as well as being the founder and president of Palladium Books. He is also a former Guest of Honor of Penguicon.[citation needed]
Palladium Books, founded in southeast Michigan, claims to be the first to implement a role-playing system intended to work for all genres and to introduce the perfect-bound trade paperback format to the RPG industry. Although preceded by the extremely obscure and poorly designed Supergame (DAG Productions, 1980), The Mechanoid Invasion (1981), along with the Palladium Fantasy RPG (1983), and Heroes Unlimited (1984), became the first commercially successful attempt to create an all-encompassing, "megaversal" role-playing system that allows players to role play in any environment they please while still using the same set of "core" rules.
Some of the role-playing games Siembieda helped produce include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness (1985), Robotech RPG (1986), After The Bomb (1986), and Rifts (1990).
