Kibbutz volunteer
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kibbutz volunteers are people who come from all over the world to take part in a kibbutz. These volunteers usually arrive in Israel for a short period of time (two-three months) on a volunteer visa, and participate in all of the activities in the kibbutz (agriculture, kitchen, gardening, factory). Volunteers get some pocket money (usually around 200 shekels a month), but receive accommodation, dining, and social activities on behalf of their hosting kibbutz.
