Kieran Crotty

Kieran Crotty (born 1930) was an Irish Fine Gael party politician who served for thirty years as TD for the constituency of Carlow-Kilkenny.
Crotty was first elected to the 19th Dáil in the 1969 general election, and re-elected six times, in the 1973, 1977, 1981, February 1982, November 1982 and 1987 general elections. He did not contest the 1989 general election.
He was elected as Mayor of Kilkenny for six one-year-terms between 1970 and 1995 [1]
